Arnie Lade
The 1990’s saw Arnie concentrate on practicing and writing, gathering experience and raising a family. Two books came off the press: Tao & Dharma: Chinese Medicine & Ayurveda (1995, with Robert Svoboda) and Energetic Healing: Embracing the Life Force (1999). The latter expresses Arnie’s personal integration of human energetic systems based on world systems both modern and ancient and interpreted through his own eclectic study and experience.
Arnie began to teach professional courses in Craniosacral and Visceral Manipulation during this time, in Canada, USA and Brazil. He later evolved a unique approach to a deeper level of experience in teaching craniosacral work with Feldenkrais Method of learning, “from the inside out”. He has gained a reputation as a gifted teacher who offers very practical and applicable learning to his students.
An insatiable learner himself, Arnie graduated from the professional Feldenkrais Teacher Training Program in 2001. This study has deeply informed all of his life and work. He began to invite clients to participate in learning as an extension of the traditional therapeutic approach. Given his unique, eclectic training, and having gathered diverse practical experience over 30 years, Arnie is usually able to offer help to people who’ve “tried everything”. He continues to practice, learn, write and teach with quiet passion.
Arnie has returned again and again to South America in appreciation of their rich botanical medicine heritage, accompanying a training group to the Isula in the Peruvian Amazon in 1997.
In the last few years both Arnie and Diane have been drawn to Europe, where they have had the opportunity to lecture and work in Germany and Greece.
